*This is a warning and sad reality of a mod or hacked account, below will be an personal story of my friend, I will refer him as "X"*
A couple days ago, my friend X was transferring accounts between different mods(there isn't any clear info on which mods he used) and came across an error, which also prompted him to start the game from beginning. Knowing that you could recover your account with inquiry code or transfer code and relevant information, I gladly helped X and sent an email to PONOS support. Days later, PONOS responded with:
"We have inspected the data associated with the inquiry code you have provided and confirmed the use of hacking or modding systems to alter values of in game content, in violation of the User License Agreement.
Due to this, the app associated with this account will remain locked and not be restored to a playable state. We will also no longer be able to provide you with support concerning this account or any loss/damage that may occur to your system due to the use of cheat software. If you wish to continue playing The Battle Cats, please download a legitimate version of the app from either the iTunes App Store or Google Play and restart from the beginning of the game.
Please avoid the use of cheat software in the future if you wish to continue enjoying our games.

•The PONOS team concluded that this account is either hacked or else been associated with non"legitimate" battle cats AKA mods.
•PONOS will no longer have anything to do with this account and nor will restore it.
So, if your account had any association with hacking or modded battle cats, even with inquiry code or transfer code, PONOS could see it and will refuse to recover it.
So keep your accounts safe, and hoping for your best.
